Summer Weekend Essentials

What do you have planned for the weekend my lovelies? After a busy week, my plans are to do very little at all. At home, we have put off having a summer holiday because we were anticipating completing on the country cottage. We thought we’d be spending these warmer months renovating it and showing it some much needed TLC. As it happens that little plan has been delayed and I’m now feeling the need for some quality R & R.

So I will be spending as much time as possible in the garden with a constant supply of cooling drinks, a comfy lounger and some new plants to pot up. I can never relax completely so some gentle gardening will be just the ticket. Followed by some leisurely meals with close friends on the new deck.

And if that little plan is scuppered because of our unreliable weather, I’ll just have to find a cosy corner inside with a good book and a few cups of tea.
