Mother’s Day is almost upon us again and if I may be so bold, I’m going to make a little suggestion. Say it with faux flowers. Don’t get me wrong, I adore flowers and I love to receive them. But, let’s face it, how long do they last? I’m also rubbish at arranging them. And the hand tied bouquets may look amazing in the brown paper, but once removed, the display always seems a bit top heavy. And they never seem to fit any of my many vases, so I usually end up cutting the string anyway. So personally, I have my fingers crossed. Or I may have to drop a few heavy hints because love of my life, aka my son, has never ever read this blog, and wouldn’t recognize a subtle hint if it hit him in the face.
