You’d have to be blind not to notice the resurgence in popularity of the Acapulco chair. Named after the Mexican holiday destination of the rich and famous that had its heyday in the 1950’s, these chairs are the epitome of ‘cool’. Available in a myriad of colours reminiscent of the colour palette of Mexico itself, they are in fact surprisingly comfortable to lounge on. Cocktail in hand of course. They may have been designed originally for the poolside but they make a very handsome occasional chair in any room in the house.

carol i LOVE this post. i lived in san miguel de allende, mexico for a few years. I designed some similar chairs. The plastic has broken down and I have been searching desperately for someone who could bring them back to life. any ideas or material ideas would be welcome.
