A Dark and Moody Mansion Flat

This is the home of Chelsea Hing, an interior designer living and working in Melbourne, Australia, and is an apartment within a former Victorian Mansion. The fireplace is original but the cornicing had been ripped out, so Chelsea had the original plasterwork reproduced and reinstated. Then she painted the walls an inky colour because as she says “I love white but the space was telling me to go dark.” and then she filled it with new and vintage design alongside handcrafted textiles and stumbled-upon treasures.

Perfection.
