Yesterday saw the start of ISH in Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for the latest in bathroom design, building services, energy, air conditioning technology and renewable energy sources. The fair made its debut over 50 years ago and now has 2,400 exhibitors from around the world.
Novellini, an Italian manufacturer of inspiring bathrooms, will be exhibiting at the fair for the first time and will be showcasing some new products that signal a new approach to design as a kind of wellness. Aptly named the bathroom Experience. A recipe that mixes the brand’s historic values, which have established it as an international leader in the sector, with a new vision of the bathroom, focused on personal care.
The Diva bathtub, designed by Massimo Farinatti, is large and roomy and it comes in two versions: simple and elegant, or sophisticated and contemporary, with an extremely quiet-running airpool hydromassage system. The new bathtub’s offering is completed by side panelling in a variety of colours, side and central trays and a headrest, not to mention its own waterfall tap unit with shower head with progressive temperature control.
Eon, is a multifunction cubicle styled by Marco Pellici. The back panels are in acrylic resin, an extremely durable material resistant to heat and light which also has antibacterial properties, while the trims are in aluminium chromed by PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) for a corrosion-proof durable finish. It is also made of tempered safety glass. In addition there is a wide range of equipment for this cubicle, which in the full optional version is complete with dorsal hydromassage, fixed shower head, steam sauna, emotional chromolight system and an mp3 player.
Revolution is a new system for replacing a bathtub with a shower and a range of cabinets, produced by Lotti, that can be built up to suit individual needs. Space becomes modular and the bathroom transforms itself into a bathroom/laundry with the addition of a raised washing-machine compartment, laundry basket and detergent or towel cupboard, dryer cupboard, and/or a tall utility cupboard.
Last but not least, the new Gala shower enclosure, is designed by Marco Pellici. It’s a modern, functional design with large areas of 8 mm tempered safety glass and new, sinuously styled, cushioned closure lifting hinges and an elegant chromed metal handle. In addition to the version with wall-mounted trim, its also available in the more modern version with chromed metal brackets fixed to the wall, which makes it exceptionally adaptable to customers needs.
