Obsessed with Marilyn Monroe……….

I’ve always been obsessed.  Ever since I was a little girl.  It’s always so tragic when someone so beautiful and talented dies young.

And she was so very beautiful.

And it seems her popularity will never die.  At the Grand Designs Live show last week she was as much in evidence as ever…

There were plenty of prints and I was quite tempted by this one from the George Ioannoui Gallery at art2art.

And by this very fifties inspired screen from Belle Interiors.

She even appeared on the Northwest Fireplace Centre stand.

And now you can have Marilyn wallpaper courtesy of Wallpaper Direct.  I love it!

But I still didn’t buy anything.  So last weekend when I chanced upon a print of Marilyn’s ballerina series by Milton H. Greene I just had to have it.

Three frames, three mounts, some cutting and assembling and I have my own little gallery.

Not the best photographs because they are opposite the window and it was a bit tricky but I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Do you like?

Fabulous gallery – your bedroom is just beautiful. I saw the wallpaper at my local B&Q as well so they are stocking it if you didn’t want to wait or pay shipping charges 😉 x

Wow that is a total coincidence, how funny that we should do MM posts on the same day! I share the same initials with Marilyn but that’s about it!!! PS I love your post with the skeleton plates – stunning!

Yes I like, I have always loved her movies, my favorites and Gentlemen Prefer Blonds and Seven Year Itch. She always made the screen light up.
