If it’s bright and cheery homewares with a touch of glamour you want, you can’t go wrong at Oliver Bonas. Especially if you have a fondness for Portuguese ceramics, a crush on gold, or a desire to fill your home with coloured glass. None of which will break the bank by the way. But you may not be aware that they also have some very nice furniture too. I’m loving the new Ottone collection. Ottone means ‘brass’ in Italian, and each of the pieces in this range are formed of solid shapes crafted from dark acacia wood, inlaid with stripes of solid brass. These heirloom pieces have a smooth, rounded profile, topped with white marble and finished with statement brass handles in pink and green marble and plain solid brass. I know, I had you at brass and marble didn’t I? The collection includes a drinks cabinet, sideboard, drinks trolley, chest of drawers, bedside table and a console table. And take a look also at the Le Cocktail velvet range of sofas, chairs, and footstools which is inspired by a mid-century French silhouette.
Some of the pieces below will be out in the next couple of months. If they are available now online, I have included a link.
