Minimalist Wall Décor Inspired by Cubism

I’m far from a minimalist but I do like a tidy house, and I’m a big fan of decorative items that provide storage for all of the flotsam and jetsam that accumulates around us. My house is full of boxes and caddies, and most surfaces have a tray of some sort that helps to keep all the ‘stuff’ contained. So naturally I pounced upon this Cubist inspired wall decor from Red Candy.

Umbra Cubist Shelf - Large

The Large Umbra Cubist Shelf, was £40 now £36.

The Umbra Cubist Shelves (there’s a large and a small version) offer a unique and neat way to display your favourite mementos for all to see. Inspired by Mondrian’s iconic cubist compositions, they consist of a metal wire frame, with a smaller floating square and a wooden plant pot incorporated into the design. The removable shelves at the bottom are perfect for books and ornaments, and it would even work well as a desk tidy if you used the wooden tumbler as a pen holder.

Umbra Cubist Shelf Small

The Small Umbra Cubist Shelf, was £30 now £27.

I’d use the smaller shelf in the kitchen for herbs and spices or cookbooks and kitchen utensils.

Umbra Trigg Wall Vessel Large

Large Umbra Trigg Wall Vessel, was £30 now £27.

Which leads me on to the Umbra Trigg Wall Vessel or set of two smaller vessels would make a fabulous addition to my storage solutuions. Also multi-purpose, they make stunning plant holders and with such a reasonable price you could make a real feature of several different sizes grouped on one wall.

Umbra Trigg Wall Vessel Small - Set of 2

Set of Two Small Umbra Trigg Wall Vessels, were £25 now £22.50.

Available now in the sale at Red Candy.

The cubist shelves are so cool, I love the simplicity and minimalism. Great little storage spaces for books or anything else you want to be able to see and reach easily
