I Spy – People Will Always Need Plates……….

People Will Always Need Plates was launched in 2004 by Hannah Dipper and Robin Farquhar.

Their aim was to use high quality, low volume batch production to create thoughtful and stylish products in keeping with their credo that good design should be used and enjoyed, treasured and shared.

The Trellick Tower range of textiles, inspired by the façade of Goldfinger’s iconic high-rise,  was launched in collaboration with Margo Selby and shares both party’s bold colour sense.

Their architectural designs are now instantly recognisable and the British landmarks used on their plates and mugs have become, in my mind, symbolic of quality and true British design at it’s best.
