I Spy Ellie Cashman Design Wallpaper

I seem destined to keep falling for wallpaper that isn’t stocked in the UK. My latest crush is this gorgeous large-scale floral design by Ellie Cashman from the Netherlands.

Dark Floral is based on the still life paintings characteristic of the Dutch Golden Age. However, this design is anything but 17th century. Modern, majestic, ethereal blooms cascade down a dark, dramatic, shadowy background. Close up it has many painterly details but from a distance, the effect is almost photographic. It is Ellie’s signature design and typical of her wallpapers which are created over the course of months, sometimes years, using varying combinations of traditional and digital art media.

My second choice would be this colour combination.

Hello. Ive seen some lovely ways of decoupage ,using some of these beautiful papers on furniture.
Also Ellie does the prints on fabrics. They can look amazing instead of feature wall of paper you can use fabric as a feature wall to cover built in cupboards.
I have an entire length of my bedroom on one side as built in wardrobes and am thinking if I use printed fabric then its not permanent like wallpaper so surely hubby wont mind so much lol

Hi Amice, I don’t think you can. I might be wrong but I have looked into it for myself and I think you have to order from the website and get it shipped over. 🙂

How gorgeous! I love this design – it’s really unusual. I adore flowery prints, but unfortunately we’ve had to go more down the geo route, as the other half doesn’t like flowery prints. I’m thinking there must be a nook somewhere I could use this though! 😉 thanks for the share Carole x

Hi stranger 🙂 I’m thinking the same thing Michaela. Even if it’s the downstairs loo. X
