Our little home-from-home is available to rent. Situated in Norfolk, we (the BF and I) completely refurbished it earlier this year and regular readers of the blog will have no doubt followed its progress. It’s a lovely little cottage situated in a rural location with direct views onto a picturesque lake. With rural views back and front, and an abundance of wildlife on the lake, it’s the perfect escape that we both craved and (reading the reviews) is already proving popular with our paying guests. It’s ideally situated for nearby beaches, the countryside of North Norfolk, the Broads, and the seaside towns of this wonderful coast. The city of Norwich is a half hour drive away.
The cottage has two bedrooms – a double with views over the lake, and a twin bedroom. Both have luxury, memory foam mattresses. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a heated towel rail, vanity unit etc. The airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has sliding doors onto the patio, a compact kitchen, a dining area, and a comfy sitting area with a flatscreen TV and DVD player. There is a shared utility room with washing machine and a tumble dryer. Outside there is an enclosed private patio with seating, and with direct access to lawns and the lakes. There is parking for 2 cars and bed linen, towels, tea towels, electric and central heating are all included.
“The cottage was newly refurbished and has been decorated to a high standard. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings with lots of wildlife including a Heron looking for his breakfast early one morning. Lovely to wake to the sound of birds singing. Only regret was that we didn’t book to stay for longer than the weekend. Would recommend the beach at Sea Palling. A long and sandy beach. We was thrilled to watch a seal occasionally surfacing to spy on the beach! We would highly recommend this cottage and will be telling our friends and family to visit.”
“This place was amazing! We were so impressed we told our friends who booked the very next weekend. The pictures don’t do it justice!”
“The cottage has been recently renovated and tastefully decorated and we found it very comfortable. The surrounding area is very rural, just right for a relaxing break! Never having been to this part of Norfolk we enjoyed exploring the surroundings, visiting The Broads to the south and Sheringham to the north. We enjoyed our short break very much and would thoroughly recommend Brimstone Cottage and this lovely corner of Norfolk“
