Dulux Winter Trend – Home Factory

When I received details of the Dulux winter trend called Home Factory I was immediately drawn to three colours in particular.  Lime Squeeze, Sea Urchin and Raven Plume.

Lime Squeeze as the name suggests is a citrusy green but not so sharp that it turns acidic.  Looks great here on a kitchen wall and is the perfect antidote to all those clinical white and sterile workspaces that are often considered the ideal.

Sea Urchin is a beautiful warm blue.  With a similar tone to the Lime Squeeze they compliment each other perfectly.  Notice the green spots on the door arch.  Not to everyone’s taste but they do pull the two rooms together.

Sea Urchin again, with a table painted in Raven Plume.  I just find these shades so restful and easy on the eye.  The different colour stools provide just the right amount of contrast and warmth.

Home Factory was inspired by the current back to basics trend amongst home owners and the increasing number of optimistic and creative minds who are currently building, making or cooking  their own products, food and drink, in order to live a happier more authentic life.

Do you like them as much as I do?

That is exactly what I was thinking Carole, that wall that the fireplace is on would look much better in green. Plus I’ve got a big oak mantle that I’m waiting to put up on the chimney breast and I think that would look great against the green! Eeeek, how exciting!
