I know it’s not even properly summer yet, but I couldn’t wait to share this new collection from John Lewis. It will hit the stores in Autumn, it’s called the Palazzo Collection, and it’s an edited selection of striking products that celebrate modern luxury. And we all need a good dose of luxury in our lives. Many of the pieces draw inspiration from the archives at the John Lewis Heritage Centre, so unsurprisingly there’s a strong emphasis on mid-century design as well as a selection of historical intricate prints, re-imagined for contemporary tastes. It would be almost worth by-passing summer (almost I said) to sink into some of the sumptuous velvets and redecorate in the jewel-like shades. Let’s just consider it something to look forward to.
