Boost Your Home Office Health With Plentiful Plants

We’ve probably all bought into the trend for plants around the home by now. Some of us admittedly with less success than others. I just can’t keep most of them alive for very long! But creating a beautiful environment with our green friends is not the only reason for giving them house room. Did you know that they actually have health benefits? They clean the air by reducing harmful chemicals like formaldehyde and benzene, as well as providing a huge psychological boost. So, it stands to reason that sprucing up the home office is the perfect place to embrace the health benefits of indoor plants, as well as creating a beautiful and welcoming space to work in.

And as I’m such a poor plant mother I’m naturally interested in anything that can help me keep the little blighters alive for longer than a couple of months. Step forward please IKEA. For homes with lower levels of natural light, their KRYDDA plant holder with an LED cultivation bulb is great for keeping plants happy and healthy all year round. For more enthusiastic indoor gardeners they have the KRYDDA VAXER which is a two tier cultivation unit with LED lights. Not to mention lots of ideas for displaying your new friends. And a vast range of lovely lush looking plants.

Now, I have to admit I’ve never bought plants from store. Well, maybe an orchid. Once. By the time I get to that part of the proceedings I usually have an overflowing trolley of one or two necessities and about a dozen impulse buys. But they do always look amazingly healthy. So next visit I’m definitely going to save some room! And maybe they’ll still be here next spring.

One month til IKEA opens in Exeter and this will open up so many more opportunities to bring plants into the home. Those LED plant holders look like something I need. My home is actually way too dark for most plants.
