If you love industrial style, it could be the perfect way to decorate your hallway. All of those hard metals, utilitarian surfaces, and less than perfect finishes can certainly take all the knocks that a busy hallway has to endure. And still look good. But that doesn’t mean sacrificing style. A bold choice for wall colour will not detract from your chosen scheme but it will make the difference between ‘this is a design choice’ and not ‘this is how we found it when we moved in’. You get the picture? And while I’m at it, accessories are key. Yes, the shoe rack is practical, and so is the metal coat rack, but the framed artworks are purely decorative and so are the other wall decorations. Industrial style rooms need those all important extra touches more than any other to stop them looking hard and sterile.
