A Warm Blue Bedroom for Autumn and How to Get The Look

Warm and blue are not two words that usually go together in most people’s minds. But remember, it’s not what you do, it’s the way that you do it. First and foremost, choose a shade of blue for the walls that has some warm undertones. This is entirely personal, but I usually find that paler shades of blue are cooler, while more intense, muddier shades have the opposite effect. Next, add wood furniture which always warms up any room. Then add texture and pattern. Rattan, seagrass and most other natural materials are great for adding another dimension to any scheme, but you could also add texture with chunky woollen fabrics too. Lastly, pattern that combines blue, white and beige will ensure your autumn bedroom is cosy and welcoming for those long winter nights ahead.
