The island is the centre of the action here and the place to prep, clean and hang out on deVOL’s own Bum Stools! The cooker run features a classic Lacanche range cooker, a brass pot filler tap, an elegant countertop cupboard with reeded glass, and the family’s refrigeration. All painted in a bespoke shade which is a slightly muted olive green that works so well in this grand home.

Running along the back wall is a fabulous run of tall larder cupboards painted in a mushroom shade. While the final area of this room is the ‘wet bar’ which is no doubt going to be everybody’s very favourite part. A corner of the kitchen dedicated to drinking! What next? Sheer luxury! It incorporates an integrated wine cooler, copper sink, and cupboards above to store alchol and mixers and spoons and shakers.

Slabs of bold Arabascato Corchia marble top the cupboards throughout the whole room and the frilly handmade porcelain pendant lights temper the luxury with their humble beauty and enchanting glow.
