A Darkly Delicious Downstairs Loo and How To Get The Look

The bones of this downstairs loo are traditional through and through. From the sash window, to the panelled walls, to the parquet flooring and brass taps. And yet, thanks to it’s dark paintwork and bold wallpaper it’s also very much on trend. And note the absence of anything clinically white. That fact along elevates this darkly delicious loo to something out of the ordinary. You can afford to be adventurous in a room you don’t spend too much time in, and the all enveloping colour palette makes it feel private and cocooning.
