A Breath of Spring from Cabbages and Roses

I don’t know about you but I’m looking forward to spring this year more than ever. We have apparently had the wettest winter since records began and surely the sun is overdue an appearance soon? I have a little garden project planned this year (in my brand new, but rather bare garden) and I need to start next month if it is ever going to mature into something worth the effort.

But, as luck would have it, I received the latest lookbook from Cabbages and Roses in the mail this week and it was a sight for sore eyes. Spring encapsulated in a series of images so dreamily beautiful that I was immediately transported to memories of curtains wafting in warm breezes and doors left open to let in as much air as possible.

Creative Director and Founder Christina Strutt has a new book out soon too (on the 13th March) and I can’t wait to get my hands on it, but until then I will gaze longingly at these few images and imagine myself, trowel in hand, planting those tulips and hyacinths, and listening to birdsong.
