A Totally Tropical Decorating Scheme for the Hallway

tropical wallpaper design of green trailing leaves and exotic flowers

I’m feeling very inspired today by this stunning new wallpaper design from Timorous Beasties. For anyone who is into the totally tropical trend at the moment (me,me,me) this wallpaper will be the ultimate verdant, green, living wall of delicious trailing leaves, exotic blooms and steamy jungle vibes. In order to appreciate it fully I’d love to see it used in the hallway and up the stairs – like the beanstalk Jack planted – so that you are compelled to follow and see where it leads.

And then, depending on what colourway is chosen I’d add leather, copper, brass, black rattan and yet more plants. This is not a wallpaper for the shy and retiring, so go bold with a metallic console table, pineapple motifs (no, they’re not totally over yet),  palm trees and green ferns. Pile it on. Layer it. And revel in your own intrepid spirit. Then add brass ants.

A very refreshing collection! That wallpaper is very unique, I’ve not come across anything like that before! Inspired to decorate my young son’s room with it – but he may not enjoy it quite as much…!

You are welcome Hollie. It was more a question of what to leave out when choosing from your shop 🙂

Wow, that is one bold wallpaper. I’m massively into the botanical trend at the moment but I’m not sure I’d be brave enough for this paper even though it is beautiful. I love what you’ve chosen to accompany it with though and I can imagine it all working so well in a garden room.

What an amazing design it is – feels very tropical indeed with the accessories you have chosen. Those ants! It has a feel of late 19th century interiors (Lord Leighton’s era) but yet is totally modern. Love it!

Oooh, that’s lovely! It’s the kind of wallpaper design that I’d be happy to simply frame too. It goes so well with the tropical trend and pineapple designs. Love all the products and you’ve picked out.
