Shopping in Stockholm
I might have mentioned that I was in Stockholm a couple of weeks ago for Meet the Blogger Stockholm, but did I mention that we squeezed in some shopping?
In no particular order…
Lotta Agaton is a visual delight which isn’t surprising as Lotta is an interior stylist. The shop is also her office and its rammed full of all of her favourite things. If you would like to visit it’s at Radmansgatan 7 but I believe it’s only open one day a week so it’s probably best to check first. If you do go, you won’t leave empty handed.
Bemz is famous for its custom made covers for Ikea sofas and chairs but you might not know it now offers a bedroom collection too. There is also a new line of decorative pillow covers. It was founded in 2004 and has an extensive range of fabrics, all of which are 100 percent natural materials and machine washable. The inspiration store is at Odengatan 22.
Svensk Tenn is one of the most legendary brands in Swedish design history. It was founded in 1924 by Estrid Ericson, who recruited Josef Frank to the company 10 years later. Together they created the elegant and boldly patterned personal interior design style that continues to pervade the collection to this day. You can find it at Strandvagen 5.
