In a Monochrome Kind of Mood
Currently sitting on my coffee table is a copy of Monochrome Home by Hilary Robertson. I keep dipping in and out of it and I’ll do a full review soon but my biggest takeout so far is this.
“By restricting the colour palette, any number of eclectic elements can exist happily together, inexpensive or simple things look more sophisticated and decorating decisions are made easier.”
So given the freedom to choose a few things for my own (veering towards the monochrome) home, I’ve been doing a bit of virtual shopping.
