Chairs, Charity and Cheers
Hope you had a lovely long weekend my lovelies. Don’t you just love this time of year?
Just before the weekend I was invited, along with seven other bloggers to learn how to upholster a chair. And all in a good cause! We met at Pitfield, London for an exclusive workshop held by the May Design Series and received fantastic expert tuition from Jay, founder of Out of the Dark.
Not only was it a lot of fun, but the chairs are going to be entered into a silent auction during the show (18 – 20 May) and whatever they raise will be matched by the organisers of The May Design Series. The money will go to the Out of the Dark registered charity, Street Dreams.
Here’s how I got on.
Each chair will be on display at the South Hall entrance to the show, and will be available to buy through the May Design Series silent auction. Bidding will start as soon as the doors to the show open. You can bid either onsite at the show, or via the online bidding form (there’s no form yet, it will be there when bidding commences).
You know you want to.
