A Simple Table Setting for a Weekend Supper

Did you have a good weekend my lovelies? I had a relaxing time with the BF and a couple of very old friends, catching up, eating good food, and exploring our new rural neighbourhood.

Saturday night we had supper at home and I had the perfect excuse for getting out my new charcoal grey tablecloth that I thought looked pretty damn good with plain white china, silverware, and a bowl of sunflowers.

I usually keep the table quite simple and I love this new (for me) combination of grey, yellow and green. The napkins are Victorian and they have been washed so many times they are super soft.

I tied them with string and added a simple flower that repeats the green of the bowl.

A few other white accessories and a couple of tall white candles created more of a sense of occasion.

Dinner wasn’t bad either 🙂

I think the combination of grey and snowy white is the best one! You have added charm with those lovely sunflowers and silverware. I am quite sure that the dinner might be equally fascinating and wonder delight :)… With such arrangements, I just want a weekend now, at least thrice in one week 😀

This is one pretty table arrangement. I like how the white china perfectly fits the grey tablecloth and love that you decided to add more colour with the yellow and green flowers. As I can see you are a very good host and even jealous of your friend a little.
